As I write this post I am sitting in my favorite local café sipping a “Skinny” Green Tea Latte and typing away on my much appreciated, and free, laptop. So, why am I here? Well, partly because I enjoy coming here to write. The sound of people’s chatter and laughter alongside “hip”, alternative tunes playing over the speakers is sometimes a welcome change from my solitary home office. Lemons
Hey all. As mentioned a few days ago, I have officially deemed the month of May to be Lynn Terry Month. In that article I wrote that I would periodically post lessons learned from Lynn in the years that I have been reading about her online exploits. Now remember, these “lessons” are my own reflections of what I have picked up on through Lynn’s many Blog postings and interviews and in no way does Lynn Terry have any influence, apart from her writings of course, on what I choose to write about or reflect upon. That being said, here we go.
As my subject line states, when life hands you lemons make lemonade. In Lynn’s case however, she’s gone the distance and not only has made Lemonade from the Lemons that life has offered her at one time or another, but also Lemon Pudding, Lemon Tarts and Lemon Meringue Ice Cream Pie in Toasted Pecan Crust. Hi all. Wow, two posts in one day. I must be juiced on caffeine. Ok…decaffeinated tea…:) Anyhoo, as the subject line states, I am officially declaring May, Lynn Terry month. For those who are involved, or are looking to get involved in making a living through an online business of some sort, you may have come across Lynn Terry in your online searches. But for those who don’t, in a nutshell, Lynn Terry is an inspiring and quite successful Entrepreneur, Affiliate Marketer, Internet Marketer and savvy business woman. Not too mention a single stay at home mom with two teen-aged children. And if that wasn’t enough, which for me would be more than enough, she also shares her experiences and expertise via her Internet Marketing related blog, website and discussion forum. AND she even gets to run off to Australia every now and then! I don’t know how she does it but she does it…:)

Hi all. I will be out of town for the next week but wanted to post a link to an article that I found interesting. It brings home the point that we are NOT stuck with what we have. We may think there’s no other options or alternatives, but with some personal reflection and hard work, we can go beyond what has been our lives up until now. Now if all is good and you are a happy camper with the way your life has turned out, then congratulations. But if you feel that there’s room for improvement or even a total life change, then by all means, start something in that direction today. Even if it’s just a thought, that’s better than nothing…:) Take care all and have a great Easter/Passover.
Friday Fun
Well, it has been a couple of weeks since I posted some Friday Fun stuff and I blame it all on technology! Actually, the blame falls on my shoulders because I missed the deadline to renew the from small beginnings domain name. Thankfully, when a domain name expires there is a cushion of a few weeks to a month depending on the domain name registrar used when you can still renew the domain without penalty. And even after that time period there are some registrars that will allow you to renew the domain, but at a higher cost than normal. So the lesson in all this, is to keep track of when domain names get close to expiring, then keep checking your email for notification. This usually comes a month before the expiration date and there is usually another notice two weeks after. My problem was a clear case of procrastination. Thankfully, it worked out. And while the site was offline for about a week or so, it’s now back up and ready to go. So without further adieu, here are some Friday Funnies to give you all a smile or chuckle.
