Friday Fun
Well, it has been a couple of weeks since I posted some Friday Fun stuff and I blame it all on technology! Actually, the blame falls on my shoulders because I missed the deadline to renew the from small beginnings domain name. Thankfully, when a domain name expires there is a cushion of a few weeks to a month depending on the domain name registrar used when you can still renew the domain without penalty. And even after that time period there are some registrars that will allow you to renew the domain, but at a higher cost than normal. So the lesson in all this, is to keep track of when domain names get close to expiring, then keep checking your email for notification. This usually comes a month before the expiration date and there is usually another notice two weeks after. My problem was a clear case of procrastination. Thankfully, it worked out. And while the site was offline for about a week or so, it’s now back up and ready to go. So without further adieu, here are some Friday Funnies to give you all a smile or chuckle. I tried to buy a domain that expired in January, and it’s STILL not up for resale yet.
It has absolutely no monetary value to anyone but me - it’s an old company I used to work for that gone now. Just wanted to own it again.
So yeah, the purging process is a verrrrrry loooooong one. :p
