Visualize Your Success And Watch It Happen

Visualize

Visualize

I was hanging out over at Anthony (Tony) Robbins’ blog and came across a video of him talking with Internet Marketing Superstars Frank Kern and John Reese, about shifting your mind-set to visualize your success. Not just believing that it will happen, but actually spending time visualizing how your life will be. I’m not sure what you all believe, but I am a firm believer in visualizing what you want out of life then going for it. This is the basic premise behind the “New Age” phenomenon called The Secret. I have a DVD copy of The Secret (Extended Edition) and I used to watch it almost weekly a few years ago, and I honestly felt the power visualizing can bring. There’s just one caveat, with everything in life, in takes a lot of hard work. Just visualizing alone how you want your life to be can affect change, but real change, life change, can only be done through a formula of visualization and hard work. It’s the “old school” idea, the principle idea, if you will, of Napoleon Hill’s “Think and Grow Rich“: “if you want something bad enough, it will happen” or “where there’s a will there’s a way”. The one constant in all of this is YOU! Only YOU can make it happen. Only YOU can visualize how you really want to live your life.

So getting back to Anthony’s video. I think it’s something you should definitely watch, and at only 38 minutes, it’s not that much of a time stealer. Grab a coffee or tea, close your home office door, clear your head of all distractions, then watch and listen. There’s some powerful stuff coming out of the video, especially around the 19:00 minute mark where Frank discusses his own path of visualization as a video store clerk earning $7.00 an hour.Anthony also gets Frank and Johnny to stand up and do a visualization exercise which you can do in the comfort of your own office. I’ve tried it and I’m curious to hear if you did and how it worked for you. I’ll let you know how it worked on me if you share…:)

So check out the video. Whatever you think of these three power earners, love ‘em or hate ‘em, you can’t deny their success and their own call to action.

Now I’m off to watch Diners, Drive-ins and Dives and will be visualizing a juicy Bacon Cheesburger and Fries…:) Take care everyone.

Make Sure Your Laptop Is Cool…Seriously!

Scary laptop

Scary laptop

Hi All. Just a quick post to say that I just read a story about a man who died due to his laptop starting a fire. Now this may be an isolated incident, but according to the news report, there have been more reports of technology heating up:

Since 2004 in B.C., four other laptops have either overheated or short-circuited when left plugged in, causing fires. The death earlier this year, however, was the first in B.C. blamed on a laptop fire, the coroner said in statement issued Wednesday morning.

And there have been 15 other fires caused by short-circuiting or overheating in such equipment as personal computers, DVD players, and cellphone chargers.

Actually, I have experienced very hot laptops before, and I’m always amazed how the insides just don’t melt. If you have ever pulled out a CD/DVD after the laptop has been on for a good length of time you know what I’m talking about…OUCH!! I guess the time has come to grab one of these babies: Antec Unbeatable Notebook Cooler 200 just in case!

Stay cool everyone…:)

The Perfect Day?

I came across an article over at Boston.com where local celebrities described their perfect day and I thought it would be fun to recount one of my perfect days. So here goes:

Geez, I’m surprised to see how much TV I watch…:) Now this type of day is dependent on whether I’m teaching or not. If I am teaching that usually falls between 3:00pm-8:30pm Monday to Wednesday.

So how would you describe your perfect day? I’d love to hear it…:)

Lynn Terry - Affiliate Marketing Ambassador

Lynn Terry - Affiliate Ambassador

Lynn Terry - Affiliate Ambassador

In this third installment of May being Lynn Terry Month, FSB looks at Lynn Terry, Affiliate Marketer. As a current work at home Super Affiliate Mom, Lynn Terry has worn many hats in the past to put dinner on the table. She’s done everything from being a Unix Sys Admin to starting up her own Computer Repair and Training operation. Lynn also established her own International Web Development company and was also an EBay Power Seller, and I’m sure there’s been more jobs worked that we don’t know about. I think it’s fair to say that Lynn Terry doesn’t mind getting her hands “dirty” when it comes to making money online.

So what makes Lynn Terry a successful Super Affiliate?

Attention People Of Earth: We Have Destroyed The Internet.

Aliens

Aliens

As I write this post I am sitting in my favorite local café sipping a “Skinny” Green Tea Latte and typing away on my much appreciated, and free, laptop. So, why am I here? Well, partly because I enjoy coming here to write. The sound of people’s chatter and laughter alongside “hip”, alternative tunes playing over the speakers is sometimes a welcome change from my solitary home office. Other times it is a much needed distraction from my head. But not today!

Nope!

The reason I am here, the reason I had to leave my home and walk in the pouring rain (which I usually enjoy) is because my Internet connection is i

Tea Time at FSB…:)

Lisa Hiliker - Cup of Tea Poster

Lisa Hiliker - Cup of Tea Poster

Hey all. I’ve created a new category here at from small beginnings called Tea Time. This new category will feature random thoughts, cool sites, interesting applications and whatever else I can think of that is not solely related to online money making.

I’d like to start off this category with a wonderful, cute and heartwarming post from Karla over at Looking Towards Heaven. Her cat has given birth and Karla has “recorded” the event for us all to enjoy. Well, not the entire birthing process, just the “after” pictures. And for those who are seriously allergic to cats, here’s your chance to enjoy these wonderful creatures without the itchy eyes and sneezing factor…:)

So drop by Looking Towards Heaven and give Karla a shout-out. And while there, check out her Modern Media Mom site. It’s way cool…:)

And if you liked the Tea Time photo above, check out more of what Lisa Hiliker has to offer. Later all and all the best towards your success.

Lynn Terry - When Life Hands You Lemons…

Lemons

Lemons

Hey all. As mentioned a few days ago, I have officially deemed the month of May to be Lynn Terry Month. In that article I wrote that I would periodically post lessons learned from Lynn in the years that I have been reading about her online exploits. Now remember, these “lessons” are my own reflections of what I have picked up on through Lynn’s many Blog postings and interviews and in no way does Lynn Terry have any influence, apart from her writings of course, on what I choose to write about or reflect upon. That being said, here we go.

As my subject line states, when life hands you lemons make lemonade. In Lynn’s case however, she’s gone the distance and not only has made Lemonade from the Lemons that life has offered her at one time or another, but also Lemon Pudding, Lemon Tarts and Lemon Meringue Ice Cream Pie in Toasted Pecan Crust. She has gone through many of life’s ups and downs and has come out on top smiling.
